- Is this actually drawn by a machine?
- Yes. A pen plotter clamps a real pen and traces every path. The result is real ink on real paper. We show the machine proudly because the drawing is the product.
- What pens do you use?
- Ballpoint pens for envelopes (long path life, smudge-resistant). Archival pigment gel pens for keepsakes and art (lightfast, water-resistant). Calligraphy nibs via an italic pen adapter for the calligraphy tier. Every pen goes through our test protocol before it enters production.
- How long does my order take?
- Standard orders ship within 14 business days. Rush tiers are available for shorter timelines. We commit to a ship date, and the checkout calendar enforces cutoffs so we never accept an order we cannot complete on time.
- What happens to my guest list data?
- Names and addresses are used only to produce your ordered pieces and validate addresses. They are encrypted at rest, never used for marketing, and automatically deleted 90 days after your order ships. You can trigger immediate deletion from your project hub at any time.
- Can I watch my order being drawn?
- Art pieces with public visibility stream live to the /watch page. Wedding stationery (which contains addresses) streams to a private room with a tokenized link sent to you. You can also opt out of streaming entirely.
- What if something goes wrong during plotting?
- Every SVG bundle is layer-annotated per piece, so if a pen fault or power interruption happens, the machine resumes from the last completed piece without re-drawing finished work. The same files are also compatible with SVG Player for manual failover.
- Do you ship internationally?
- Not yet. Domestic US shipping at launch. International shipping is planned.
