How it works

You provide the data. We set up the pen. A plotter draws your piece with real ink. You can watch the entire session live.

  1. You configure

Open a Studio Session and enter your details: names, dates, venue, guest list, uploads. Everything you enter once is available to every product without re-typing.

  2. We compose

Your data flows into the compositor, which builds production-ready SVG files. For envelopes, that means every name and address laid out on a pen plotter jig. For art, it means your photo or coordinates transformed into continuous-line vectors.

  3. The plotter draws

A real pen, clamped into a NextDraw plotter, traces every path. Ballpoint for envelopes (1km+ of ink life), archival pigment gel for keepsakes (lightfast, waterproof). You can watch the session live or get a timelapse when it finishes.

  4. Ships by your date

We commit to a ship date, not a delivery date. Parcel orders get EasyPost tracking. Letter-mail stationery batches go out stamped. Wedding orders enforce calendar cutoffs so machine failures never eat into your timeline.

The machines

Handplot runs AxiDraw-family pen plotters from Evil Mad Scientist. The 2234 handles large-format art and jig-loaded stationery beds. The 1117 is the dedicated envelope machine. Both are equipped with interchangeable pen holders for different ink types and nib widths.
